USA45 Racing continued their college sailing dominance this past weekend at three events across the eastern seaboard. At the Aaron Szambecki Team Race hosted by Old Dominion University in Virginia, Nevin Snow led Georgetown to a 3rd place finish in the 8 team field which was comprised of six of the top ten ranked teams in the nation. John Wallace, sailing for St. Mary’s, finished right behind the Hoyas for 4th.
Elsewhere, Jake LaDow, also sailing for St. Mary’s, tied for 4th place out of ten teams at the Admiral Moore Team Race hosted by SUNY Maritime Academy.
Stepping away from team racing for the second straight weekend was Graham Landy, who again spent the weekend fleet racing at the Naval Academy. Fresh off of his victory at the same venue the weekend prior, Graham placed 2nd in A-Division at the Owen/Mosbacher/Knapp Trophy, which ultimately ended with his Yale Bulldogs taking the overall victory.
Continued success on the collegiate circuit after a weekend off training in San Francisco only proves what this team is capable of doing on the water!
