The race is on for Peter Kinney to recover from a hand injury and be ready to sail in the America´s Cup Youth America’s Cup competition, September 1st-4th, in San Francisco. Kinney, a life long sailor from Newport Beach, resumed his sailing career with the USA45 Racing team after playing football through college. On Wednesday we went out to the Marina Green training location in fog and a 5-10 knot westerly. The breeze was quite shifty and large pressure differences across the course made for challenging conditions. Weekend Report: Photoshoot

With the start of the Louis Vuitton Cup Finals this weekend, there was plenty of fanfare around the AC Park. Saturday’s session was intended to be a photo shoot with Oracle, and for the first time all 10 of freshly branded AC45s lined up for the cameras.
